I didn't take many photos today, I just enjoyed spending the time with my family and watching Dad play with Ruddick and Rikki, but here is one that I did manage to capture. A quiet moment "Papa and Boo"

The OK cyber crop is happening NOW!!

My challenge is a "sunshine challenge"> Create a layout/ card using the colour yellow and a "sun" must feature somewhere.

Clean and Simple

The challenge today on the Bo Bunny blog was to create "Clean and Simple" layouts. I'm pleased with the way it turned out :)
What I think is absolutely fabulous about the Bo Bunny blog post is that all the DT members used the same collection "Key Lime" and each layout is SO totally different and unique!

Oklahoma WE CARE - An Online Benefit Crop

Cheeky chic Scrapbooking will be hosting an online crop on Saturday 15 June to benefit the victims of the Oklahoma tornado tragedy through the United Way. The cost will be $15 and all proceeds will be donated directly to the United Way of Oklahoma.

During the online crop there will be challenges hosted by a variety of scrapbookers including myself, Juliana Michaels, Becky Fleck,Lisa Pace, Stephanie Howell,Cathy Zielske,Mary Ann Jenkins, Jess Mutty, Julie Overby and more.There will also be some fantastic prizes given away from our generous sponsors including Bo Bunny, Jillibean Soup, Little Yellow Bicycle, The Paper Bakery kit club, Pink Paislee, Fancy Pants, Bella Blvd, SRM Stickers, May Arts, Echo Park and many more!

There will be a challenge every hour, on the hour, from 8am EST - 6pm(maybe later) plus challenges from some big names in the scrapbooking arena, with a full week to complete the challenges you pick! LOTS of great chances to win some fabulous prizes. Oh and before I forget, there is also a LUCKY PRIZE DRAW from the first fifty people who donate!!

Bo Bunny's secret revealed!

It's a Bo Bunny DESIGN TEAM call!!

What do you need?  Well, a little of this and that…but the most important thing…you must LOVE Bo Bunny products.  If you love to scrapbook and create, can work with monthly assignments, are easy to get along with, and LOVE Bo Bunny products...then please apply!

Here’s what you need to do:

1.       Create two layouts, two cards and one item of your choice using 75% BoBunny products.  The item of your   choice can be an altered item, mini book, home décor or mixed media.  Be true to your own style, we are looking for a variety of styles on our team.

2.       Let us know if you have a blog and the address.

3.       Are you active on any forums or social media? If so, which ones?

4.       Do you have an online gallery? If so, please share the link(s).

5.       Are you currently on any other design teams? If so, which ones?

6.       Have you been published?  Are you open to submitting your work?

After you complete the above requirements, send it to bobunnyauditions@gmail.com 

by Midnight on June 16^th, MST.  Please keep the image sizes under 1mb each.  

We hope to announce the new team by Thursday, August 1^st.

Now that you know what you need to do, here’s what we do for our design team members:

1.       Designers will serve a period of at least one year on the team.

2.       Designers are compensated generously with Bo Bunny products.

3.       Designers receive compensation for published work in print publications, catalog work and other requested projects.

Playing with SRM stickers and Bo Bunny....

Ruddick has a Craft Market/Fun Day at his school on Saturday so Dad and I are sharing a table. Dad has been turning all kinds of wonderful items (from tops , whistles and pepper grinders to bowls and platters) and I've been making cards.

So what do you think....

This first card is made with SRM Stickers by the Dozen #62001 Birthday and Bo Bunny Double dot cardstock

 Here I've used Bo Bunny's On the Go collection and an SRM sticker sheet I've been hoarding for the longest time!! Do you ever do this??? not want to use something because you {love} it SO much that you'll be sad when it's finished! Silly really.... but there you go!

 and lastly for today, this card also uses the same SRM sticker sheet as before- SRM say it with stickers #20041 Father's Day and Bo Bunny's Camp-a-lot collection.

Sharing some of Dad's handiwork....

This month saw the Durban Woodworkers Guild hold their Annual Woodblock Challenge.

Dad had a piece of Walnut measuring 305mm x 235mm x 50mm.

This first photo shows how all the items were cut from the wood block.

  The lid of this box is made of Maple.

 A pot pourri bowl

 A tiny vase and 3 ball point pens
