Adornit Blog Hop

Hi there to all you fellow "blog-hoppers"!

I am a member of the Scrappin Mojo forum and we were invited to join in this super Adornit's Summer Favourites blog hop! I have been a scrapping for about 8 years now but am very new to this online scrapping community!

If this is your first stop, please go here to start at the beginning of the hop!

Hope you'll enjoy my project! One of my Summer Favourites is time spent in the pool. I decided on a two page LO featuring an A4 size photo! I like to use big photos every once in a while and this was one particular picture I couldn't resist. It is a picture of my nephew at 6 months, the start of his love of swimming and water!

Here is a closer view of page 1; The 2 smaller pics have double mats and the larger a triple mat.

page 2: I triple matted the photo and then folded one corner attaching it with a bright green
brad.

A close up view of the corner...

This shows a closer view of the eyelets and "thread" I used. I did this on both pages. Following a rule I've learnt from one of my favourite South African scrappers- Candice Greenway. "If you use it once, use it twice!"

I hand drew the brackets and then double matted them. I used the thread here again, by doing this I managed to create a "visual triangle" another tip I've picked up from Candice!

This photo is just a fun shot of my nephew recognising himself in this LO whilst I was photographing it!

Thanks for looking and joining me in the fun! Your next stop in the Blog Hop is Lisa Archer
