AWSA Congress 2009

AWSA stands for the ASSOCIATION OF WOODTURNERS OF SOUTH AFRICA. My dad is a member. It is their Annual Congress this weekend in Pietermaritzburg! I thought I'd share his entries for the Instant Gallery!



Firstly, this is a large beaded fruit bowl made from Jacaranda


This is an oval hollow form, made from Australian Mahogany


Lastly, this is an urn, made from London Plane.



Way to go Dad!!!!

    Those are lovely. My dad also does a lot of woodwork and has made many bowls and things.
